Been a busy week, lots of appointments, which I think I may have mentioned. The above was taken on Wednesday night, at the dinner we have been organizing. Went well except that my favourite player had to withdraw as he had the flu. Hopefully he is well enough to play tomorrow. This young man stepped in to take his place. A nice young lad, new to the club. Hopefully with a good future ahead of him. He was very sweet.
The place mats I made went down well, and lots took them home as a souvenir.
Went to the hospital for a checkup on Friday and had to have an ultrasound as there is a collection of something in one breast. Go back on Wednesday and if still there may have to have it aspirated.
Picked up my new dentures on Thursday, not bad but need a little adjusting.

Nice to hear the dinner went well - though I was sure of it already before! :) Sorry that your favourite player was so sick he could't take part, but that's life. So, you've made really great souveniers, too. Congratulations!
Is there some fluid or some scarring tissue that was seen on the ultra? Hope it's not too hard to deal with and you soon get yourself healed properly.
BAck to hospital today. There was no clot and swellling had subsided, so all is well.
Have to go back again on MOnday though, getting to be a pain. Parking is a real hassle.
