I really love the smell of daphne, so have this vase in my kitchen and another in the bedroom.
As I told you had the guttering cleaned out and now have had the windows cleaned. Now have to do the inside, which I hope to do tomorrow.
Did some housework this morning. Cleaned the kitchen floor so feel better. Was going to go to the crochet class this week, but my sister needed me to go to the hospital as I told you. Still that was good news for you as I was able to get you some patterns. Just to whet your appetite I have attached some photos of what you have to look forward too.
This the the collection I found.
This is the daffodil pattern. If you are impatient I can scan this one for you and email it. :D
This is a close up of one of the books.
Because of their age some of the books have covers missing and some a quite faded so I apologize if some are not legible.
The book here on the right is in good condition and the price of one shilling and six pence shows that it was before 1966. It is a shame that none of them have any dates. Still patterns like this are timeless.
Hope you will enjoy and be able to use some of them when I send the disc over. I haven't finished scanning yet. Sorry, will get onto it as soon as I can.

Good to hear you're really starting to feel normal again. But don't still overdo it.
So beautifull flowers you had in your photo - never seen anything like it. Not in anyones garden and not as inside plant either. Looks a bit like large azalea, but still not. Lovely!
I'm also planning to clean the windows outside, too. Do the wiping inside now and then (to get the nosemarks of the pets off), but the rest is done more randomly.
And I never could've thought you had THIS many booklets of crocheting - more than what we have in our library! :D And the patterns really seem to be a bit different than what is used here, which is great, too! One of my friend makes beautiful jackets out of crocheting, but I think I'm not patient or skillful enough for them yet.
Daffodils are really beautiful and the idea of a tray cloth wonderful. We don't usually have any clothings over our trays, but why not? Keeps the tray in a better shape. Wow!
And you don't have to stress yourself with this scanning thing. I will have work enough with the deer for some time still - planned to make deer place mats to accompany the curtain to finish the Christmas present for my brother and her wife. So, take your time. :D
Be well! Hugs and kisses!
No problems, will scan as I can
The daphne is a beautiful plant, but a bit tempermental. I have tried numerous times but seem to kill them off. Of course, this time I had mitch to help :D
I have about 3 leaves on mine at the moment.
My friend also has a book which has Australian animal which she has offered to copy for you. You wont be able to work you will be too busy crocheting :)
I am taking it easy.
Love and kisses
I have some yarn left to do a couple of bigger works and some smaller ones, then I have to buy some more yarn. Trying to postpone it as much as I can, but I know it will eventually be ahead of me. Don't want to stop crocheting now that I've something special to do. And it's still cheaper and more personal to give own works as a present than anything I can buy, I think.
Hope your daphne will recover and start to grow and get beautiful!
Definitely nicer to have a personalize present. It really is a frustating not having enough money isn't it. I really need a new refrigerator, but just can't afford it at the moment.
Could have I guess but felt a holiday at this stage was more important.
