I am not sure what has happened to this weekend.
Ethan came over Friday afternoon, and we then went and picked Jay up from school and took him to Rohan's for the night. Ethan was a bit upset when it became bedtime and for the first time wanted to go home to his mum. He eventually settled. He wasn't crying but was insistent that he wanted Mum.
Distracted him with a letter to Santa. :)
These are they books my sister bought me in Hawaii. But when I look there is one missing :) I am currently ready the series Millenium by Steig Larsson. Great books, but have misplaced volume 2. It has to be here somewhere but I can't find it. (Not unusual for me to misplace things.)
These are the murals at the Adelaide airport. I hadn't included them before and I didn't have any new pictures to show.
I really need to go and do some housework, but it is too dark now. (It is 7.30 at night), so will have to be diligent tomorrow and really get things done.
I took Ethan back yesterday about 4pm and picked Jay up. Then Kirsty dropped Rohan off and he showered and went to a party. I had to pick him up again this morning. So guess all that has taken up the weekend.
All I know is "Poof" it has gone. It is still raining, so hopefully not Trick or Treaters tonight. Slowly Halloween is creeping into our life here. Too much American influence. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
Joan rang last night, they are away camping, (in the rain but they are in a caravan). One of the dogs in the group bit her on the calf and she has had to have 3 stitches. Apparently the Labrador is old and arthritic. She brought her ball to Joan to throw, but they have been asked not to throw it as the dog is too crippled. Anyway, Joan thinks that because George (her Dog) was behind her the other dog thought he was going to take the ball and bit Joan instead. She said it is not too sore today. But gave her a fright.
Well my friend, hope yours has been a more productive weekend. Love and kisses from down under.

So, you seem to have been quite busy at the weekend. The time just flies away when you have something to do. The letter to the Santa was a great distraction, for sure!
Are those McCaffrey books fantacy tails? Been reading Christopher Paolini's books of Eragon and now waiting for the fourth book to get into the market. Had read these three that we got at least three times already and find something new out of them every time. Really interresting.
Great photos out of airport murals. Seems airy and clean, and still separates the places nicely.
Sorry about Joan. It will surely be different with an older dog that has some pain. They are more unpredictible - and even more, if they are not getting the excersice they really need because of the arthritise. The "working" energy is still there, in the mind of the dog. Hope Joan's calf will heal quickly.
Lots of love and kisses back to you!
Anne McCaffrey and now her son Todd, write about dragons and dragon riders. They live on an earth like planet but don't have any technology, so have to find different ways to live.
So, yes, they are fantasy. Also has other series apart from the dragon books. The Tower and Hive series are about people with paranormal abilities, and living on other planets. I enjoy all of her books.
Have to find out, if we have any of these McCaffrey books to buy here, too. Sounds interresting.
