Went to a function for my football club last night. This was the entree. Thai beef salad with green mango, kaffir lime and red nahm jihm (whatever that is :D)
Followed by chicken breast with crushed potato, sorry no photo and a vanilla pannacotta with mango sauce, and again forgot the photo.
I don't remember if I told you but my favourite player deserted to another club and this is my new favourite. Eddy is a new recruit and only 19. Has yet to play a senior game but am sure he will succeed, especially with me as his number one fan ;D.
Everyone at the dinner received this medallion as a memento of the evening. It was a good night.
Went to see the Last Airbender with Jayden, which he thorough enjoyed. It was ok, but not much of a story line. Apparently taken from a cartoon series on TV that Jay likes.
This is the latest video of Liam. He is trying so hard to walk, but hasn't taken a step on his own, but wont be long. He is a happy little fellow. 10 months old, don't know where the time has gone.
Hope to start Tai Chi this week. This is instead of the crochet lessons. Maureen has I think a DVD on crocheting, so when she gets back from a few days away, we will try our hand. Wish us luck.
Lovely sunny day today, so must get on and do a little housework, while Jay is at his Dad's, and then some gardening. Am trying to eradicate a monstera deliciosa that was sending suckers under the house. Was giving good shade to the office but had gone wild.
Also lots of weeds as I couldn't weed after the op and then it has been too wet. No excuse must get into it.
This is how much is left to get rid of but the roots go everywhere. Grrrrrrrr.
Demi and Cinder still don't fraternize, ah well. Never mind.
Did the cleaning the other day, don't think I sent this too you.
Put her bed in a storage basket whilst I washed the floor, and she decided she liked it in the penthouse :)
Well, enough procrastinating. On with the housework.
Hope this finds you well and safe. Have a great weekend.
Love and kisses from your Aussie friend.

So, you changed the layout of the blog. Nice! Like more space here now! :D
The meal occation for your football club sounded so wonderful and Eddy also looks very handsome. Takes years out of you, too. ;D
The video of Liam is so cute! I had to watch it several times through. He already knows how to avoid bumping into things - clever!
Tai Chi sounds exotic and the dvd on crocheting like a very good idea. I hope it can teach you to get started again.
Garden work seems like never ending story really. Wish you had the energy to go through the weeds.
And you GOT the both cats on the same photo already - it's getting warmer; little by little. :)
Was SO good to read your happenings again!
Keep well. Hugs and kisses from your Finnish friend.
Slowly slowly with the cats.
Yes, young Eddy is a nice young man, as well as nice looking. Very kind to an old lady :)
Glad the video worked. He is cute isn't he :D
