To get to Mum's I have to cross over the freeway, so stopped and took a view looking each way. The first is looking west towards Geelong, which is the largest Victorian city after Melbourne. Mum lives at Lara which is a little town about 10 kms before Geelong.
This is looking back toward the East from whenst I have just come.

Nice views over the highway! The road goes on and on as a straight line on both sides. Nothing like our highways.
What an exotic looking plant this Bird of Paradise. So beautiful. Clearly has a good caretaker!
I will pass that on to Mum. Yes we have lots of wide open spaces.
