Just as we leave the city in the new area being developed called Harbour town is the new Costco store. It is a wholesale store, which you have to pay a fee to be able to go and shop there. Do you have them in Finland. This is our first one and has been here about 12 months. I haven't been in but it is supposed to be very cheap, if you buy in bulk.
I think last year I sent some photos of the skywheel being demolished. Well, still not much happening, except it is only a skelton at the moment. What a disaster.
Just past there is a shot of one of our major road. Not like this on a weekday as it is lined with warehouse and markets. Lots of trucks here during the week.
I think I have put the containers in twice.

Never heard anything like Costco. I doubt if a store that needs a fee to enter will ever have enough customers here in Finland. The import taxes are so high no shop can lower their prices so much it could ask people to pay something to enter the store. And Finnish labour costs are so high that our own products can't be cheap enough, either.
Sad looking thing the remains of the skywheel, indeed. But it must not be an easy task to get it fixed anyway.
Are those containers coming or going or as a storage (empty)? Looks funny, but I guess, we have a lot of containers in hour harbours, too. Somewhere out of sight.
Don't know if those particular containers were empty or full. Just know there seemed to be lots of them.
I wouldn't go to a store I have to be a member to buy from either. Also it so near the city, that you would have to drive and for us that is nearly an hour away. So the cost of petrol would negate the savings on the goods. Still I guess somebody goes!!!!!!!!
