Belated Mother's Day

I went down to see my ex mother-in-law on Sunday.  I took a few photos, quite a few, on the way.  Not a good practice whilst driving, but fortunately, I didn't crash into anyone.  Mum lives on the other side of the city from me.  I am about 30 kms on the eastern side and mum is about 60 kms on the western side.  Had to go through the city centre so took a shot of another of our old churches.  Well old by our standards
Then went past the relatively new stadium where we play our Aussie Rules football, and some Rugby.  It has a retractable roof.

streets.  This is about 11am on Sunday morning.  Not much happening this part of the city on a Sunday.  Because this blog only allows me to post 3 pictures at a time. I have posted backwards.  So although there seems to be lots of blogs it is really all one day.  Hope you can follow it ok.

Thank you for these photos! Good of you not to crash while you took the photos! :) While I drive I use my other hand with camera, and just click-click-click - keeping my eyes on the road all the time. The shots may not be the best of anything, but at least this way I don't hurt anybody. So, remember not to take too much of the risks yourself either! Want to keep you safe, too!

I did try to do one handed, but some I took in front of the steering wheel. Not too much reflection from the window.
