Sorry the lighting wasn't the best. But these are the last of our hot cross buns, 
Not much else happening. Been cleaning out drawers and cupboards. Must be sick. Also tried to polish up the silver cutlery and a brass dolphin. Must start using the cutlery I think as it was almost black. Would probably not get so disgusting is it was used frequently.
Hope you and your friend are having a lovely time catching up and reminiscing .

Oh, the easter bun seems so yummy! I wonder how the cross on the top has been made? These look a bit like our Xmas buns that we bake without the cross, though. And they also looks a bit larger than yours, but it's quite difficult to estimate the size in photos.
The dolphin looks also really great! I like dolphins and if we some day build a swimming pool in our yard, I would like to have a huge dolphin made out of blue tiles on the bottom of the pool. It would be great looking from the side of the pool...
I hope I would have the energy to clean up my cupboards and drawers - there's a LOT to be done. But not yet, anyway. :)

Don't know what got into me, except the cupboards were really bad and when I was cleaning them out I found the brass polish, so had to use it.:-D
I think the cross is like a marzipan, but I will try and find out for you.
