Drama

Heard the lights and sirens, and they stopped outside.  Not very good for taking pictures at night, but the power lines on the other side of the street were touching the tree or visa versa, and the tree was catching on fire.  The Fire Brigade were there for about an hour, till I guess the branches had burnt back enough to stop touching the wires.  Jayden was very excited.  First time he has seen a fire truck and firemen working.

Have been trying to send you a copy of my homework for my photography class but it will not upload.  I will ask at school if there is a trick to it.

Had to go to a funeral today.  Someone I played badminton with for many years.  He had a form of lung cancer.  The one caused by asbestos.  I can never spell it. I think it is mesothelioma. Not a nice way to die. Quite a nice service, because I guess he was a lovely  man.  Adored his two daughters and his four grand-daughters. Did beautiful woodwork.  Worked as a woodwork teacher for many years.

It must've been exciting for Jayden, something to tell to his buddies. :) In our land, quite near the house goes power lines, too, and there comes woodcutters from the electric company once every year to check out the tree situation. They keep all the branches out about a meter or so in every direction. Though we have more trouble with heavy winter snow to cut the branches from trees over the lines than any other thing.

Your photo may be in other form than is allowed. JPG is the most popular and it suits almost everywhere. Hope you can manage it somehow, 'cos it would be really nice to see.

Sorry to hear about the funeral. Asbestos is really dangerous and we have a lot of houses here in Finland, too, where it's used as to cover the houses outside. It's ok, when you don't touch it, but if you want to remove it, there's a lot of safety regulations to keep up. How to do it, how to gather up the garbage and where to put them safely. Many kinds of poisons people have been using without realizing how bad they are.

Yes, he was excited. Usually they trim the trees here too, but because the power sub-station was arcing, I think that is what causing the tree to catch alight. Today it doesnt look like they are touching, who knows.

I will check and see how I saved the photos, you may be right and it is in another format.

As for the poisons around us, I agree, they rush things out before checking sufficiently on the impact on humans or the environment.

Money rules. :-(
