Trials and Tribulations

Arrived as I have said at Helsinki airport above, and am waiting for the bus. Not many people around, seems strange.

 This is the station at Helsinki. 












This is the station and the green bit is the train I am to get one, I will be on the bottom level as the top one is first class, and the trip is 169 kilometre from Helsinki to Turku. 

The train is electric all the way.  It is 2 hour trip.

 This was just on the outskirts of Helsinki.













First Day we went to Botanical Gardens in Ruissalo, which is not far away from Noissiainen, which is where I am staying, about 25Km from Turku.  The greenhouse were great, but outside is still mostly dormant.  Some bulbs.


Tuesday we went into Turku and did some shopping and looking around, including wandering along the river and to the apothecary museum and the sports stadium, where John Landy and Ron Clarke are listed.

The trials and tribulations are that first the Laptop battery is shot, then the mobile wont work, now today with is Thursday, the camera wont function.  Can't open the lens.  See you all later.
