Busy yet again. Lots of appointments this week too. Hearing as you know. Worked Tuesday and Wednesday. Today had to go to a hematologist as my white cell count, or part of it (neutrophils) have been dropping, but he said it is not a problem.
Tuesday had another crochet lesson. Then Maureen came over on Wednesday, and I tried to teach her what I had learnt. Talk about the blind leading the blind. Maurs is having lots of problems with her tension. Not that mine is perfect. Above is my practice piece. By no means perfect, but a start.
Also, been shopping for a photo frame for the caricature I won. Booked my airfares to Adelaide for the wedding next month. Now have to look for clothes to wear. Even the Indian blessings is formal. Shame Laura is not here, she could make me something :)
Organized what we call Print Post which is a special rate for our newsletter, which will allow us to send folded without an envelope. Hopefully much quicker to get ready for the post. No more trying to jam them into envelopes. And no more stamping the envelopes for me. :)
Bought some more lace today too. Keep going back to look for the cheap lace. 10c instead of 79c is a great saving. Just limited in colour choice.
Next week have a check up for my hearing aid, and another visit to the optometrist to check for glaucoma. Feel like I am forever having health checks at the moment. Except for the fact that I feel fine, I could become quite paranoid. =D
Because I didn't add a lot of photos, thought you might like this one of Demi. Think she just wanted some TLC, but could have wanted to have a bath =D.
Be happy. Hugs and kisses. (Especially for your birthday.)

Good of you to start practising your crocheting. We say this type "a grandmother's square". Loads of bed covers and pillowcases been made with this technic. Though we are tought to change yarn colour in every row in the begining - easier to spot the end point that way. And nobody is a professional right away, needs some practise. =) You're doing well. Keep on going!
Good that you found a way to get your work with the mailing quicker. Print post seems efficient.
Health checks may be a bit frustrating (at least when you feel ok), but necessary at times. Patience! And keep well! =D My hubby is also having a lot of different check ups with his high preasure and sleep apnea. And now again more frequently, 'cos they have to change his medication to avoid the gout attacks. Luckily it seems that the diet also helps.
Demi-dear, looking so cute! =)
Hugs and kisses back!
