Freaky Friday

The weather this week has been a real mish-mash.  Some lovely sunny spring days and days like today.  Sunshine, hail, wind, sunshine, more wind and then rain.  And cold again.

Yesterday went for another eye check, but everthing is ok.  This church was next to where I had to go.
The windows might have looked better from the inside, but it was closed and it wasn't very sunny.
Today I went to see some friends who are over at my niece's house. They brought over a map of Cornwall for me, so I can start planning my trip.  Makes it all seem more real.

These are a couple of shots of the pool at my niece's house.  She lives in a bayside suburb, and one that is quite affluent.  (million dollar houses....bit out of my league  :0 )

This is the beach at the end of her street, taken from the top of the cliff.

To the left and then to the right  :)

Went out for tea last night,  (football function) and completely forgot the camera.  Probably because I had the optometrist first.

Jay is staying here for......well, not sure for how long.  Ro is in trouble again. Hasn't paid any bills, so had his power cut off and will probably have the phone cut off next.  Don't know what I am going to do with him.  I don't think he will ever settle.  Such a worry, not just about him, but I worry for Jay.  Not a good influence or example for him to follow.

Nothing happening this weekend, so Jay & I will just have a quiet weekend together.

The Church looks nice - a similar look than in many ours here. Windows are very skillfully made.

Good to hear you eyes are ok. Checkings can be a bit of a timetaking, but necessary, if there is afraid to be some problems. It's good to know, either way, actually.

Good of you to get a map of Cornwall! Now you can start planning things better. =D

And what a great pool area your niece's family has! Wow! And the beach looks beautiful, too. Though the water seemed quite angry and not inviting, but the scenery is lovely.

Sorry to hear about Ro's problems. Is he still working, though? Hopefully. Not a good example, you're right at that. Though not all the children use their parents as an example (me and my siblings are one good example of that). Extra work for you, though, at this point. Ro is an adult, so it's hard to actually do something if he's not ready for it...

I send you loads of energy and good wishes! Take care! Big hug!

Thanks for the hug.
And no, he hasn't worked for quite a while.

Can you confirm when is best for you. I can come before or after England, or even between England and Scotland. What is best for you is my first priority.

The day I took photos of the beach was very, very windy.

This week has been cold, wet, and windy. Lots of rain, and hail. Still should be better by the weekend =D

Next Spring is a big questionmark yet, weatherwise, but if you want to make sure there's already something growing here (April is the barest and browniest month of them all) when you are here, I suggest you'll come on May. If that's ok, you can decide your timetable and I'm surely able to live with that. There's mother's Day on May and our sons 19th birthday on 8th of May, so there may be a little celebration for that, or then there isn't. He's not so keen on being a birthday boy... And anyways, he may be in the army then, too - we never know, not yet.

When I only know the date of your visit early enough, we can manage for sure. =D

So great! Looking forward to it!
