My dear darling adorable pesky rabbit kept me up most of last night. Don't like to leave him out all night, but he just wouldn't come in, so when Tomic finished his tennis game at Wimbledon, about 4am, I went to be and left the back door open so he could come into the back porch and laundry.
Had Jayden from Friday afternoon to Saturday, early evening. Took him home just after tea.
I am wanting to take down the sign out the front as am getting people calling in and ringing looking for appointments and we don't want new clients. But there is a light over it and wasn't sure how to remove the whole thing safely. My elder son came to check it out. It turns on in the ceiling. We have an attic ladder and store lots of junk up there in the roof, so have been cleaning it out. So dirty and dusty. Still I found out where the power starts and was able to disconnect it.
Have also spent the rest of the day looking for some usb memory sticks that I have tied together. Haven't located them yet.
Tonight we went out for tea at a local club for Pauline's birthday (which was last week)
Started with Garlic Bread (nearly forgot the photo)
Lynne had the tortellini. mushroom and spinach, but not very tasty she said.
Glenys had chicken schnitzel, these are all seniors meals which are smaller serves, and cheaper
Pauline and I had the roast pork. Mine particularly was huge for a seniors meal.
Have had better, The pork was very tasty.
For sweets, Lynne and Glenys both had the tiramasu.
Pauline and I had the vanilla creme brulee with rhubarb.
I had finished mine before I remembered the photos, and Pauline had almost finished hers. The sweets were all nice. :D
We sat and talked for ages. A really great night. Still haven't been able to download from my phone as the cable is difficult to find here. Have found one on ebay so have to wait for it to arrive from Hong Kong =D
Have a good week. (a little aside........when would be best time to come over, as you indicated that April might not be the best weather, I am fairly flexible.)

Oh, Mitch! =D He's found some good place for himself, and didn't want to give it up...
Hope you have managed to unlight the sign or taken if off totally already. You know, I've never even thought of putting one up here. Don't want surprise visits from new customers ('cos of our pets). Would want to prepare them a little before they come.
How funny that you've been looking for the memory sticks, too. I uploaded some photos and videos for my youngest brother about a month ago (his guitar playing and stuff), but have managed to misplace the stick somewhere. I was sure I put it in my handbag, but it isn't there. Could be I've taken stuff out of my bag for getting it a bit lighter and then the stick can be anywhere... Well, it will come up from somewhere someday, I'm sure.
How yummy the garlic bread looks! I've eaten something similar once in our cruising trip and it was really delicious. Almost asked the waiter to change my main course for the bread. =D (Didn't, though.)
In Finland the weathers seems always to be a bit unpredictable, so we may have a whole week of rain, or sun, or then everything in turns and sometimes all in one day many days over. So, weatherwise there's not really a clear and safe time for a visit. But actually, the April must be the ugliest month of the year. I would prefer the end of May or some time in June to be the best time of the summer. Warm but not too hot. Next year we'll have the graduation party for our daughter (hopefully), though, that will take place at the begining of June (first or second weekend, I suppose). That will take some effort to arrange. But before or after that, there's time. At Spring it takes time for the trees to open their leafs, the grass to start growing and the flowers to start blooming. Too cold in April to have anything growing outside yet. And most of the turist places are also opening from the middle of May or at the start of June... But is this too late for you (football)? I'm sure we'll manage to figure out things to do and visit in April, too, whatever the weathers will be, if that time suits you better. Still really anxious to be seeing you! =D
I found my memory sticks. I have set up my laptop in the loungeroom, and when I moved the computer desk out of the office, the sticks were on the floor between the two desks. Hope you find yours.
Both my boys birthdays are first week in May, but perhaps after that. Mid May to give you time for Laura's graduation. Don't want to come if it is going to be really cold. Trying to come in the cheaper times though.
Have managed to work out about the power to the light on the sign. Quite easy in the end, as it was just plugged into a power point. Will leave it in the ground in case somewhere down the track I sell and someone else wants to put up a sign. Just have to put a cover over the junction box at the foot of the sign.
Good that you've found the sticks! I still haven't even look for mine after I wrote the last comment. Tried to find it yesterday, when my brother came to visit us with his wife unexpectedly (couldn't prepare anything beforehand). But couldn't make a proper search while they were here.
And the middle of May sounds good to me - for your stay. More options to go to, also - and the nature is starting to look something already. =D Great! =D
