Having looked at your blog and seeing how cheerful your fire was I decided I should have one that week. So tried taking a photo. Interesting how the top without flash looks so different from the one below with flash. You can only just see the flames.Not a lot to tell, have had a very heavy cold, but seems to be getting better, but think I may have told you that.
I am trying to finish a jigsaw puzzle that I started about 2 years ago. I keep getting frustrated with it, as it is one of the hardest I have done. It is only 1000 pieces, but I will take a shot of the now and then when I have finished, a shot of the completed puzzle. Not sure how good my close up work will be. Lets see....................

The fire is so warm and pleasent. And it really changes on photos depending on how to take the shot, too. I like the one without the flash. There's somehow more feeling in it that way.
The light in the foggy weather looks fantastic! You can image yourself in the ocean somewhere - in a boat... Great photos!
That would be great wouldn't it, on the ocean with another boat coming out of the fog towards you.
I agree, the one without the flash definitely is the better shot, but couldn't resist sending both to compare.
