This is my friend Joan's new dog. His name is George and as you can probably, or maybe not see, he is a golden cocker spaniel. So cute. Loves a tummy rub. Still very mischievous. Loves to chew things. Including fingers and toes, and clothes.
My adopted grandsons gave me this beautiful orchid, and my friend Joan gave me the jewellery tree. I also got, apart from your presents, and the licorice is yummy, by the way. Rohan and family gave me a new cover for the barbecue, and Shaun and family gave me a new therometer, which registers indoor and outdoor temperatures and also humidity.
I took a photo of the Christmas table, but looks a bit bare here. Was a nice day about 22 deg, so we had roast pork, chicken and ham with all the roasted vegetable. Nobody likes plum pudding, which is a tradition here, (a carry over from our British heritage).
This was Jayden's plate, he is only 10, but eats well.

Looks so nice! The tree in the same space where the Christmas dinner is served - that's one of my dreams! Plum pudding is not what we eat here, but plum otherwise is used a lot; in pastries, cakes, curd - and at Christmas we put plums in to the Karelian style hot pot, too, that we don't use in other days.
Nice gifts you got also. In addition of your gifts I got a book, more yarn, glass pepper caster, Christmas ornaments, sweets and chocolate, hand-made kettle holders (from our 10 year old goddaughter), candles, napkins, new sheets, table clothes... and such. A lot of practical things. And the kids got a lot of vouchers to different places; hairdresser, clothing store, animalshop plus some stuff to put in the bridal box save for the future. And money. Our son is saving some for his driving licence, 'cos he's turning eighteen next Spring. May need to buy a second car to the family soon, too. We really would need it, but let's see how the business is going from now on...
Was nice to have a peek at your Christmas time! Thanks! And let's have a nice rest of the Christmas time, too!
Forgot the George last time - should see the posting when leaving comment, 'cos I seem to forget what I was supposed to write. And afterwards I forget what I wrote, when comments are waiting for approval... I really think I'm getting really old some times. ;/
But George looks cute! And all puppies are lively and they like to try everything with their teeth - what's my experience. A bit like babies that always puts everything in their mouths. =o)
George came visiting today and he has calmed down a lot even in a week. He is now fully toilet trained which makes life easier too.
