Some good and some bad

Went to Bendigo on Tuesday to see the Grace Kelly collection.  Went to Gwynne's and left my car there and we walked to the station which is about a 15 minute walk.  Nearly an hour trip to the city, where we left the suburban train and caught the country train.

The trip is two hours long, and I have added a sample of the landscape along the way.

Sorry about the reflections, but did the best I could.  Even though we have had a lot of rain, there a still parts of the state that are becoming dry.
A modern house along the way.
Another...................

This one is very nice and neat

Fallow fields, waiting for the next crop.  No sign of livestock so assuming they will be planted with some sort of crop.

 Slightly different landscape.
and a different house style.

This is just outside Bendigo Station.  The walk to the Art Gallery is about 15 to 20 minutes.  We had to hurry as we were booking in at 11 and we arrived at 11.15am.

On of the street scenes on our way.

And another

Can't seem to align the photos, but this fountain is in the centre of the city.

This is an old mining platform.  Bendigo as I think I said before was a gold mining town in the 1800's

We weren't able  take photos inside the exhibition, so sorry.

Hope you can access some information via this link.

There are more photos but I will add them later.  Some of the stations along the way are quite old, by our standards.

The bad news is that my cousin died yesterday, and although we knew he had cancer, we didn't realize that he was so sick, it was very sudden in the end, for all.  And we had to do some detective work to find his brother, who was visiting his children who are scattered all over the continent.  He was with one daughter in Queensland and then going on to another daughter in Northern Territory.   I found one of his grand-daughters on Facebook.  So was eventually able to contact him through her today.

But hope you have a wonderful Easter.  Not sure what I am doing.  Without Jayden here, and with Ethan and Liam away too, it will be very quiet.

Hope you are fully recovered.  Love to all, and pats all round.  Enjoy your visitors.

So sorry to hear about your cousin! It's always a miss, when someone dies, even if there is some illness on the background. You still always hope, the death will postpone itself. But on the other hand, cancer sounds like a painful illness, so it may also be a relief.

The views about the fields and the houses nearby looks lovely! Lots of open places - a bit similar as we have here, too. Though the houses looks different. :)

Hope you enjoyed the exhibition, though you didn't get any photos for yourself either. Thanks for the link. Shortly said, but Kelly is looking really beautiful in the golden frames. :)

Try to enjoy yourself now, though you're otherwise alone, you have the furry friends to accompany you anyways - as I do, too, always. ;)

Have a Happy Easter! <3 <3 <3

You are right about Noel, I think it was a hard road the last two years. We have to believe that he is now at peace.

Yes I did enjoy the exhibition, and I am enjoying my furry friends this weekend so far.
