Didn't realize how long since I posted. Jay was been unwell this week, so don't know where the time has gone. He is fully recovered today. Not doing much as it is so hot.
Went to a meeting on Monday night, and forgot to take a photo, but it was a carvery, so just roast beef and roast vegetables.
Then Tuesday went into town for lunch with Marg and Janet. Again, no real photo opportunities. You have seen most of the city before :D
Then out for tea again on Tuesday night for Lynne's birthday, but forgot to take my meal which was flathead (fish) tails, chips and salad, but Pauline had this mini pavlova for dessert. Looks yummy.
Today, Jay and I have just finished eating our ice tubes. Nice and cool on a hot day. Jayden's was bubblegum flavour.....
Mine was blackcurrant. My arms aren't quite long enough :D
Had to give Mitch another shower today and he really smelt bad. You might just see that his tail is still a bit wet and it is hours later.
He has been inside for two days now because of the heat. As you can see he is stretched out trying to keep cool. Haven't had to close any doors and he stays mainly in the kitchen these day.
He has finished his watermelon as you can see. Must go see is he wants more.
Spoke to Dave that I was going to see in England, and he has offered to come to Cornwall with me to help show me around, which is very kind of him. He lives in Spalding, which is on the east coast in Lincolnshire and north of London. I am very blessed with lots of good and kind friends.\
Am going to a seminar tomorrow on "Preparing for your overseas trip" relating to genealogy.
Only 9 weeks and seems to be so much still to do. Need a rainproof jacket and some comfortable walking shoes. Have a travel card, which can be used in ATM's. (Is that what you call them?) (Automated Teller Machines) but will also get some cash, for things like the bus and train, and any food or drinks I want.
There are probably other things, but will think about them later
Can't wait to get there <3<3<3<3
Jayden is jealous because I will get to pat all your pets, especially Kadi, she is his favourite too.

Good to hear from you! =D Though I've been so busy myself that haven't done much in the net these days either.
Haven't had anything for breakfast yet, so the mini pavlova looks really tempting! =P
We have those kind of ice tubes here, as well. Nice to use, 'cos they doesn't take too much space in the freezer. And different tastes give nice variety, too.
Mitch seems to enjoy himself. Most of the pets likes to be a bit damp on hot weather - keeps them cooler, too. So, cute!
Great that you'll have a guide in England, too. Easier to move around. :D
Nine weeks feels to be far away yet at times and then really close. Funny somehow. But it's great it's coming closer every day. =D
I've never heard of ATM's, and my hubby thought it would be a name for a company that makes these money lifting machines. ;) Now I learned it actually is ATM, but we call them Otto-automations. You can withdraw money with Visa or Mastercards, but never heard any travel cards used. It's still possible, but most of people uses their bankcards (with or without these credits). But if you have Visa or Mastercard, they can be used here in Finland almost everywhere. We have many areas here, where there is not possible to get any money out of banks even. We mostly use cards, so actual money doesn't move around so much any more. But in smaller places, and busses etc, it's still desirable.
Still haven't got a headset for Skype. It's in the shoppinglist, but keep forgetting it to the fridge door every time we go grosery shopping... Sorry!
You really will be full of fur right after you step in to our house - so be aware! =D
The fur bit sounds really good.
I am sure you will get around to getting the webcam, but if not then I can call your phone. Not essential, as you have given me your mobile/cell number.
I will go now and programme into my phone. :D
Still warm "D
