It wasn't supposed to be a very nice day. A bit of rain in the morning but clearing. But woke up and it was a lovely day. Only meant to get to 22, but am sure it was a lot warmer.
We went to Flinders, have shown you photos of this place before when I went with my sister. The tide was out and a bit cloudy. This is the pier, which you can see for yourself.
Maureen will hate me for this. Doesn't like having her photo taken at any time. As you can see it was a bit windy. :)
Found the colour contrast in the cliff face fascinating. Bit hard with this new camera to get the right shot as there is no view finder, just the display, which in the sunshine can be hard to see. Would have like to have zoomed in a bit more.
This gives you a good idea of how far out the tide goes. Also these three shots were taken more than an hour after the first shot and further around the coast line.
The road were were on skirts around the golf course. Lovely view of the ocean for the golfers.
This particular spot is where they so some hang-gliding and I think they call is para gliding. Where they jump of the cliff with a parachute and just ride the thermals. Too windy today for anyone to be there.
Looking back down one of the fairways.
Passed this wooden carving outside a lovely house. Some very expensive houses in Flinders. Mostly holiday houses or for very rich retirees :) When we were children going down there for our holidays, it was a little fishing village.
On the way home we stopped for afternoon tea at the marina in Hastings. A few dollars worth of boats to be seen, and that is only part of it.
All in all a lovely day was had by both of us.
Hugs and kisses, hope you had a good weekend.

Your day out looks nice! Great the weather was good, though windy - as it often is in the sea-shore.
The photo where there's two different colour cliffs is fascinating! There is clearly some sculpture of a human face on the left one looking towards the camera. Bit worn out; maybe because of the wind or the water of both.
Hard to think how rough and far going the tide is, 'cos our sea is so small we don't have tides.
Great view over to the ocean from the hang-gliding cliff. Some paradise beach comes to my mind.
Some of our favourite places from the childhood is also filled with expensive houses. Don't know who's living there though. Some people does have a lot of money these days.
The last photo of the marina with the lines of boats on both sides is great! Looks so peaceful.
Our weekend was busy and nice, as well as yesterday evening, but have been having some difficulties on posting the blog again. Will keep trying.
Hugs and kisses!
Was a good day. I must admit I didn't look close enough to see the face, but can see it now :)
That particular part of the coast line is one of my favourites, but probably because I spent so much time there as a child.
Funny how those times, I guess when they are good one, really stay with you.
Hope you sort out your problems posting. Missing your blog.
Hugs and kisses.
