Saturday's doings.

To day went to a wedding of the daughter of long time friends. Siobhan was only a toddler when I met Graham, (Dad) and Betty (Mum).

Siobhan and Michael met through our volunteer fire service (Country Fire Authority or CFA). Hence the arrival in a vintage fire truck.
Betty is a fantastic cook, and made and decorated the wedding cake. As the couple have been engaged for 7 years, it was a fairly low key wedding, and the reception consisted of an afternoon tea (sandwiches and cakes, which I forgot to photo).
This is the happy couple entering the church hall where the reception was held.

This were the favours that were given to the guests by the bride and groom. Just some heart shaped chocolates in a little bag. The weather was fairly favourable. We have had some great thunderstorms the last two nights. I tried to take some photos, but didnt come out too well, will try and post them later after I have an edit.

Oh! What a nice looking weading! My favourite parties! <3 <3 <3 And the newlyweds really looks happy, too! And a great cake!

At one point it felt like there was someone inviting to their wedding all the time, but now it's gone to like once a year or two. All my siblings are now married, so it's up to the kids next. =oP

Do go through periods where there are lots of weddings or 21st etc. Last year I had a few 60th and this year a few 70th's. Everything seems to come in bunches.
