I am so upset, I think that either my camera has had a hissy fit or my charger is broken. I had had my hair done especially to have my photos taken with my favourite player too. I had a lovely night on Saturday. We had really good seats with a lovely group of people. More friendly than last year.
The food was ok, it was just me being very fussy. Was able to get lots of signatures for my great niece and nephew of the football players. Great fun going round and asking them. I was especially able to talk to my favourite player as he as on the table next to us. He is a lovely boy and very polite to a silly old lady.
Sunday was very busy and had a 70th birthday afternoon tea for a good friend at venue in Wandin which is about 20 minutes from here, but had to leave early as I had to also go and see my niece for her birthday.
It was at her sister's (my other niece naturally) at Beaumaris which is near the beach and about and hour and a half from Wandin. Tried to find a quick way to go, but naturally it finished up taking longer and then took a wrong turn and got catch when the boom gates at the railway crossing got stuck down and we had to find an alterative route.
Finally arrived, and the great niece and nephew fell upon me to see if I had managed to get a couple of signatures for them. I had managed to get about 20 and they and everyone else was quite impressed.
Two other guests were there, which was nice, because I have be corresponding with one of them regarding my family tree and he had obtained some certificates for me. My great great grandmothers death certificate, for 1871 and her husband will. He died in 1835, so was very exciting to get them. He also ordered the marriage certificate for another set of g-g-grandparents. It was nice to put a face to the name. They are brothers and seem to be very nice.

Wow! Lots happened in a weekend! Sorry I haven't had the time to visit your blog earlier.
It's really frustrating when camera (or laptop, or cellular...) doesn't work. I know the feeling. I usually have low battery-problem, 'cos I never seem to remember to charge them. Hope you'll get yours fixed or having a new one.
How on earth can you get 20 signatures out of players? You've been working hard. I seldomly have anything to do with games (at any kind), but I know how vivid it can be when the game's gone.
Be well!
Getting the signatures was fun, just going around and pestering the players until they signed :-). Tried to let them finish eating first :-D
Yes it is frustating about batteries. Grrrr. Still havent bought a new charger, maybe today.
