Up and had breakfast. Walked around to the Convention Centre where I had to catch the coach. Was about 10 minutes away. But it was looking like rain and there was a free bus just outside the motel, which the receptionist informed me about, so decided to take that.
Had bought a wedding favour, which is supposed to be good luck. They come in all shapes and sizes, and are frequently a horseshoe, but I liked the look of this one better.
This was the coach that took us to the church and then onto the reception. There were 47 of us aboard.
And then the inside, sorry not a very good photos. As it started to rain, as I left the motel, the receptionist, followed me out and lent me an umbrella. Which matched my skirt :)
This rather nice statue outside, unfortunately with the bus behind it, but on further viewing, notice the bus is nicely reflected in the orb she is holding. But, of course, I knew that (ha ha)
The church was situated on top of a hill in a small village called Crafers, which is in the hills surrounding Adelaide, and about almost an hour out of the city. Because if where it sits, not easy to get a photo of the church itself.
Flowers at the entrance.
Flowers and garlands hanging in the trees.
The foundation stone.
This is one side of the church.
Views of inside the church. (Not as light and bright as yours). The Altar.
The organ..........................
One of the pulpits.
Another pulpit, which was used for the readings.
Some of the flowers and fruit, which were on every pew.
Lovely sweet peas and lily of the valley.
One of the bridesmaid...........there were three of them.
The bride and her father.
The back view, with the smiling groom between them. Anit's family on the right.
The happy couple after being showered with rose petals.
Some of the rose petals.
Straight after the ceremony there was turkish apple and cinnamon tea. It was lovely.
I will continue with the reception in a later blog. Hope you are enjoying this ;D

Oh, what a feeling you can transport from your photos and writings here - to the almost opposite side of the world! Wow! =D
I think the weddings are the most loveliest celebrations there is and though the couple is not familiar to me, they surely look happy and so beautiful! As well as the church, the guests, decorations and such.
We don't have any Wedding Favours here, though the thought is really nice. But the newly married couple offers often some wedding sweets to their guests as a best wishes to go home with.
Rose petals are starting to get more usual these days (instead of the rice that birds are eating too much of and getting ill), but it's not available always.
Loved the photo of the statue with the bus on the background. It's a photo with a thought in it. Never mind it wasn't purposeful when you took it. =D Great!
I'm sure I will be back to these photos later on, too. Already looked them through many times. Thank you so much for sharing them!
Be well and have a great week!
We can sometimes fluke a good shot. ;D
We didn't really use rice, but paper confetti. Which was like the little round pieces you get from a hole punch. But many places won't allow it now as it is too hard to clean up.
Next edition coming soon :)
