I really don't know what happened to last week. It is school holidays here, but only had Jayden over one night. That was Saturday. Wednesday night I went to a football dinner and that was good but forgot the camera, yet again.
Tried to take the photos of the fish, but too much reflection. Will have to try a different light. Maybe later in the day.
Have started a new vest. Pattern books are quite dear and this was was going cheap. I haven't used the same yarn, so will come out differently. The first photo is the better colour match.
This is what it should look like, but we will see how it turns out. I think the original yarn is thinner, as I didn't realize that were two different yarns until I got home and read the pattern properly ;D
Yesterday, Marilyn and I took Jayden and his friend from next door, to see the football. This was the second level of football, (and the team is associated with the main team we follow,) so the grounds are smaller and more intimate. You get quite close the the play as the crowds are quite small.
This is Jay and Will playing their own game :)
Could have strangled both of them on the way home. The game was played over the other side of the city and took us over an hour to get there. They fought going, but were really bad on the way home. Jayden has developed the bad habit of whinging. (Complaining). It is something that we have to try and break him out of. It is a way of getting attention, but so annoying. He wanted to stay again last night, but I told him that his whinging was the reason why he couldn't. Thought if he stopped for a little while I would relent, but have to be consistent, and try and confirm that bad behaviour does not get rewarded.
But the day was good, the football was good (our team won), the weather was beautiful, and I came home and had a peaceful night :0
Have a great week, hugs and kisses winging their way over cyberspace

Underwater fish is a challenge to get a photo at. But you got the ones that shows there's many of them with nice colour! When we were in Shanghai and I tried to took a photo at the pond in front of a big mall, one chinese came and lent me her black umbrella, to cover the sky. And that did the trick - I got nice photos. You know, chinese uses umbrellas to block the sun out. They just love white skin.
Our kids were quite young once when they arranged a bit of fight on the back seat and I asked them to cool down once, it didn't work, then I said I will stop the car next and if the fighting doesn't stop they can walk home. They still didn't stop. Then I parked the car beside the road, opened the seatbelts, took the kids out of the car and asked once again if they prefer going home with me, or by themselves. If with me, then they just HAVE to be quiet or next time I will not ask anything any more, but will just leave them. And, believe me, I would've driven forward for giving them a lesson, if I would've needed to. I didn't. At home we discussed how dangerous it is to distract the driver while the car is on the move. Much easier to get into an accident that way. No problems ever after that in a car. Mean mam, but still thinking of their best. :)
Did threaten to leave them, but think they knew they were too far from home for me to fulfill my threat. Still will have BIG talk with jay next time he comes over.
