New garden

Been lots of rain and lots of thunder and lightning.  But in between I have managed to do a little gardening.  Also lashed out and bought some new plants.  Not very dear ones,  but I do like begonias.

Had to take this from inside as it was a bit wet underfoot.  The tree fern my friend gave me is already putting out three new fronds.  The plants are still in their pots and will probably stay that way until some time next week.  I should have put the tree fern a little further to the left to hide the stump of the bougainvillea.

Had to shift a lot of things out of the billiard room ready for the party on Sunday.  Looks a lot different, but can't get into my massage room though.

As you can see, quite a mess.  The fun will come when we have to put it all back again.  The joys of entertaining.  I am not really looking forward to it.  Any of it actually.   Anyway, you have a great weekend, as I probably wont have time to add anything before Sunday night.

Wow! You've been really busy! I think it's good you have had some rain now that you've put some flowers in the garden - keeps them alert. And it's hard work clearing up the place for entertaining guests. You seem so have more room there, though - we are always a bit crowded here, where ever we are, when there's some visitors in the house. But we always think that when we all get along, we will also fit into a tinier place, too. :) Sitting on someones knees, if necessary.

My friend was visiting us a couple of days here and didn't have time to be on the net. Now it started snowing and she got hurry to get home (6 hour's drive).

Hoping you'll have a lovely weekend there!

Glad you had a nice visit. I will be glad when Sunday is over. always worry about having enough food and then complain when I have so much left over :D

Never a happy medium.

Have a great weekend too.

I'm sure everything goes smoothly and well!

You should keep some "left over" -party with your closest family/friends afterwards. Eating what ever there's left and not buying anything more. We often keep this kinds of parties here in Finland, if there's a lot of stuff left from other gathering. We have an own word for the occation: "rääppiäiset", but couldn't find any word close to it in English. The meaning is the same as in Left over -party. ;D Enjoying other's company and don't need to waste any food.
